Field of Screams Returns for 5th Year

The Field of Screams is back for its 5th year — and it’s larger than ever. What began as a Halloween labour of love has grown into one of Lethbridge’s must-do October traditions, transforming Spitz Stadium into a haunted experience filled with terrifying characters, haunted trails, and scares around every corner.

Presented by the Under the Lights Group in partnership with Prairie Baseball Academy, the Lethbridge Longhorns High School Academy, the Lethbridge Bulls, and Lethbridge: Baseball’s Home, Field of Screams runs October 15–31 at Spitz Stadium (2425 Parkside Drive S., Lethbridge). Proceeds support our student-athletes and facility improvements — so every scream helps the next generation of ballplayers.

  • Bring 2 non-perishable food items for the Interfaith Food Bank and receive a $3 Field of Screams voucher plus a special Movie Mill coupon.

RULES & GUIDELINES

TICKETS & ENTRY

  • All ticket sales are final — no refunds, including if your child runs away scared!
  • The event runs rain, snow, or shine (well, maybe not in too much snow or cold – watch social media if that happens!)
  • Advance tickets online via Bulls Igniter Ticketing are cheaper than at the door unless you bring non-perishables to support the food bank.
  • Your ticket is good for any one night of the event.
  • Gates open at 7:00 PM (6:30 PM opening night, Thu Oct 15). Last entry 15 minutes before close.
  • No re-entry once you exit.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone. No entry while intoxicated.
  • Small concession, firepits, souvenirs are available before you exit.

AGES

  • Not recommended for children under 6.
  • Children ages 6–10 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Caution is urged for ages 7–10 — the haunt is intense.
  • No babes in arms.
  • A parent or guardian must sign a liability waiver for guests under 18, and is responsible for their children’s actions.
  • Want a lighter scare experience? Ask for a free glow-in-the-dark necklace at the entrance — it tells our monsters/ghosts to keep their distance. No necklace = full scare.

INSIDE THE HAUNT

  • Do not touch the monsters/ghosts/characters — they will not intentionally touch you (incidental contact can happen in the dark).
  • No touching props or sets. Some are fragile.
  • No running. Stay with your group and follow the path. Groups are capped at about 10.
  • Costumes are welcome, but no masks may be worn inside the stadium. No prop or replica weapons.
  • No flash photography or video recording inside — phones away. (Photos with our characters outside the haunt are encouraged!)
  • No flashlights, phone lights, or lighters — the glow necklace is the only light you need.
  • No food, drink, or large bags inside; bags may be checked at entry.
  • No smoking or vaping inside. No outside alcohol. Concessions are open with some hot beverages as well.
  • No foul language, rowdy behaviour, or harassing actors, staff, or guests — violators will be removed without refund.

HEALTH & ACCESSIBILITY

  • The haunt uses strobe lights, fog, loud noises, and sudden scares in dark, uneven areas. It is not recommended for anyone who is pregnant or has asthma, a heart condition, a seizure disorder, back or neck injuries, sensitivity to strobes, fog, or loud noise, or claustrophobia.
  • Some areas involve stairs and uneven ground; enter at your own risk.
  • No strollers inside the haunt. Service animals are welcome on site but not inside the attraction.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Dress warmly — it’s October in an outdoor stadium. High heels and open-toed shoes are not recommended.
  • Interfaith Food Bank donations accepted at the entrance: 2 non-perishable items ? $3 Field of Screams voucher + special Movie Mill coupon.
  • Free parking in the Spitz Stadium parking lot. Park at your own risk and keep any valuables locked away. Enter through the main gate at the Spitz Stadium Ticket Office.
